The Team Behind Lazorko Photography
We're a husband-and-wife team running a full-time photography and videography business in Dallas. We work with corporate clients throughout DFW who need professional headshots, interview videos, and event coverage—and who want to actually enjoy the process.
Here's what we've learned: most people don't like being photographed. We hear it constantly. "I'm so awkward on camera." "I hate how I look in photos." "Can we just get this over with quickly?"
That's exactly why we do what we do.
We specialize in making people comfortable. Whether you're filming your first corporate video or updating headshots for your entire executive team, we guide you through it. We shoot tethered so you can see images in real-time. We review footage together throughout the shoot. You're not hoping it turned out well—you know it did because you were part of the process.
Why working with a team works.
Mitch serves as the director while Jen manages production. We met at work years before starting this business, so the collaboration is natural. Shoots run smoothly. Nothing falls through the cracks. You get two perspectives working together.
We offer both photo and video.
No need to coordinate with multiple vendors or brief separate teams on your brand. Corporate headshots for 30 employees? We've got it. Event photography and a highlight reel? Same shoot, same team, consistent quality across all your deliverables.
Our backgrounds matter more than you'd think. Mitch spent years as a touring musician, which means professional-level audio on every video shoot. (You'd be surprised how many videographers get this wrong.) Both of us come from careers built on connecting with people quickly—Jen as a physical therapist, Mitch as a yoga instructor. We're comfortable in any environment, and we're good at reading when someone needs more direction versus when they need space to relax into it.
At the end of every shoot, we want you to walk away with two things: exceptional work you're proud to share, and newfound confidence in how you show up on camera.
The technical side matters: lighting, composition, audio quality, all of it. But the real magic happens in that moment when someone reviews their photos or footage and genuinely says "wow." That's what we're here for.
